We take our coffee seriously, which is why our beans are ethically sourced from some of the highest quality coffee farmers from around the world.
Each coffee we select goes through a rigorous process of selection, roasting and taste testing to ensure we provide quality and consistency in every cup you drink.
We believe that drinking ethical and sustainable coffee is no longer a choice.
After 8 years of working in the industry, James, our founder, set up Balance Coffee during the Covid-19 pandemic, with a vision to use his experience of working in the coffee industry and his passion for coffee as a tool to create positive change.
We’re on a mission to create change using a few simple initiatives to ensure every cup of Balance Coffee positively contributes to people and our planet.
For every coffee sold we:
- Plant trees every month to offset the harmful effects of CO2 on our planet. As of August 2020, we’ve planted 170 trees providing a CO2 offset of 9.32 Tonnes.
- Donate 1% to Project Waterfall, a coffee charity which helps provide clean water for coffee growing communities
- Help coffee farmers at origin improve their livelihoods, as we only choose to source ethical coffee.
